December Wedding

I was honored to be asked to photograph Chalene and Russell's December wedding. I really enjoyed sharing their day and getting to know their families. Painter Software

I have this cool software that allows me to do paintings of my images. Here is one I played with today. I've got a lot to learn, but this is pretty cool!

Family Silhouettes

Played with my sisters' families at my grandmother's. I did these in both color (muted and textured) and sepia (shown). I printed them on matboard with a linen finish and think they turned out pretty well.

Family for Thanksgiving

I spent the best part of my Thanksgiving day at my grandmother's house taking pictures of my girls. I grabbed a few shots of my niece while she was there also. Here are a couple from that few minutes of shooting.

Tis the Season

Spent some time this morning playing with holiday settings and two little cuties. Here are a couple of my favorites from the session. Doesn't this just make you want eggnog?

New Software

I've recently upgraded to Photoshop CS4 and Corel Painter X. WOW, amazing differences from what I've been using (Elements and Painter 3). I've been playing a bit with the Painter and I really think it will add a whole new world to what I can offer. Here is my first attemt. Let me know what you think!

Fall Fun

I spent a while with the Speegle family on Green Mountain today. We hiked the entire nature trail and stopped for photo ops along the way. Here are some early sneak peaks of the kiddos.

I've Been Lollipopped

I spent the better part of this week at a fantastic photography seminar for the members of the NoBS Photosuccess forum. Four great days in Nashville with some cool people from all over the states and Canada. Needless to say, I'm exhausted.
MamaShan the creater of some amazing photoshop actions brought her photobooth and newest action set (Lollipop) and we were lollipopped. Here is my image. Pretty cool, eh? You can see her actions at www.photoshopmama.net

Fall at the Farm

I was blessed to spend the afternoon yesterday with Joey and Lottie at Tate Farms (Pumpkin Patch). It was fun to watch Joey run from one thing to the other. We got to go on a hayride and pick out a pumpkin. Here are a couple of images from that outing. More on my website in the client galleries.

I spent last weekend shooting Danielle's beautiful wedding. Thankfully the rain held off and everything went as planned. Here are a few of the images from the day.

Volleyball Chicks

After Tuesday's match I had about 2 minutes before they took the net down to grab a couple of pics of my girls. I wanted dramatic lighting. Not sure I achieved that, but I was close. Taken with SB800 off camera with my girls taking turns holding it for me.

Brother and Sister

I had a brief session last night with friends from church. It is HARD to pose siblings when you are so used to engaged couples! Here is one I love from the session.

Ethan at 18mos

I spent Sunday evening taking pictures of this 18month old cutie. We started at the duck pond and ended up with the John Deere tractor in my back yard. Isn't he the cutest!?!

Joey's Little Sister

Newest Morris

I was blessed to shoot the grandson of my sweet friend this past week. This is the first child of my first bride! I was so honored to be asked to photograph this sweet boy. Here are a few of the images and creations I put together from this session.

Summer of 08

The girls and I have been to one camp already the summer and will be going again next week. I can't believe how fast the first week of camp passed. This week I took a quick trip to Auburn with my oldest daughter so that she could get her Tiger Card and order football tickets. I made a quick stop at a friend's house and took just a few pictures of her new baby. He is such a cutie!
